Defying Ethnic

img_06721.jpg

In this blog, I am going to defy almost every basic rule about wearing a Salwar - Kameez. Wearing white has always scared me for some reason or the other, but have always wanted to try colour popping into a full white attire. So, I confronted my fear of white, and because there are not many things white in my closet, I borrowed my mom's salwar and paired it up with my go to white shirt.

Look 1

My father's biker boots have always caught my eye, and I have wanted to style them my way. For this look, I kept the accessories colourful and wanting to wear black shoes, I could'nt think of any other pair than dad's boots, and so, I gave it a try. IMG_0652.jpg

Look 2

For this one, I wanted to add something funky to the ethnicity. To do that, there is no better thing than some boots, to complement the shirt. On the other hand, I could'nt keep my hands off my newly bought shibbori dupatta and silver bangles. To top it all off and keep the funkiness going, I carried an embroidered cross-body bag.

This blog taught me to get out of my comfort zone. I hope this makes you feel like you can go ahead and wear that colour or piece of clothing that you have just avoided for a long time.

Until next time.....STAY SASSY!
