The Dungaree Dress

I tried wearing Dungarees, I miserably failed. I searched for a dungaree dress, they were too short. I stopped searching, I found the perfect Dungaree Dress. Ofcourse, the moment I spot this dress, I started thinking of ways to style it, and couldn't wait to share it with all of you. I could only share three ways to style it with you'll, but there are many many other ways to wear it too.

Casual Blue

One thing I love is the plaid + denim combination. I kept this look quiet simple, because the combination itself completes the look. For the accessories, I stuck to a simple blue-green necklace which is, now that I think of it, really old, but still my favourite.  To keep it casual, feminine and androgynous at the same time, I  wore my wedged sneakers.

Off with the Shoulders

Since a very long time, I had been wanting to wear an off-shoulder top with dungarees. Now that I have both, I grabbed the chance! I didn't find the need to change my shoes, but went out of the way with the accessories, and wore a big fat choker.

Blouse and Bangles

As you all may have already figured out, I love including Indian in most of my outfits. This time was no exception, I actually kept the best for last. This look is actually recreated from one of my OOTDs, where I wore my blue blouse, loads of bangles, my jhumkas and kohlapuris (as usual), and this time, as an addition to my Indian jewellery, is my Nath or nose ring, which is much more of a maharastian style.

As I told you before, there are a lot more ways to style this dungaree dress. If I had a classic white shirt, I would have done a very formal look, with maybe black or red heels, and pulled on a blazer to complete the look. Another way you could style it, is by wearing a turtle neck, and stockings for the winter, with maybe chunky silver jewellery, or big jhumkas to make it Indian, or if you want to keep it simple, just layer up with the thin dainty necklaces. If you are bold enough (unlike me), you could also wear a colourful bralette inside and sneakers.

Tell me how you would wear your dungaree dress in the comments!

Unless next time.....STAY SASSY!
